NSTU Sport and Recreation center is one of the biggest university sports centers in Novosibirsk Oblast.

Novosibirsk State Technical University is the only university in Novosibirsk that has certified sports facilities which are included in the all-Russian register of sports facilities. They host major regional and international competitions.

The university supports and promotes more than 30 types of sport. University sports groups successfully train sportsmen to be prominent and distinguished in their field, with many sportsmen gaining leadership in City, Regional, All-Russian and International Competitions.

NSTU modern and advanced sports facilities include:

• indoor sports facilities and gyms (sports complex with a swimming pool, sports complex with a wrestling, boxing rooms and gym, three specialized gyms, skiing center, shooting gallery, bowling center);
• outdoor sports grounds (ice rink, mini-football field, skate park, athletic field with an obstacle course);
• suburbian Sport and Recreation complexes of NSTU «Sharap» and «Erlagol»
